This path of express entry has been created for those who have valid work experience within Canada and who wish to become permanent residents. The requirements for this program include language skills in all forms of communication in English or French, more points will be added for those who are capable in both of the countries official languages. There must be at least one full year of skilled work completed in Canada within the last three years before application, and it will be necessary to ensure you can compete the skills listed for the job in the Canadian Occupational Classification. These requirements do not allow for self employment or work experience during a study program. This path of entry does no have education requirements, but there is an advantage if you can provide proof education within Canada or outside of Canada.

             The language testing will include writing and reading, as well as listening and speaking. The result is only valid for two years and it is mandatory that you have a valid test result when you apply for permanent residency, so this path is intended for those who plan to apply for permanent residency after their arrival. It is necessary to be legally admissible to Canada and all documents required must be valid.
