Entry level and semi-skilled
The Skill Immigration (SI) – allows entry level/semi-skilled categories workers from tourism/hospitality, long haul trucking or food processing occupations to get PR in BC through BCPNP. This category is not covered under Express Entry BC streams.
Qualifying criteria
– Must have a full-time/indeterminate job offer (i.e. permanent position) in a specific occupation such as tourism/hospitality, long haul trucking, or food processing occupations to get PR in BC through BCPNP
– For Northeast Development Region of BC, can apply under skill type C or D as per National Occupational Classification
-Minimum 9 consecutive months of full-time work before filling applications
-Meeting language requirement
– Qualify for the job
– Demonstrating you can support self, and family/dependent (if any)
– Wage as per BC standard market wage
– Legal immigration status
