This program is for skilled trades positions and requires minimum test scores on reading, writing, listening and speaking for English or French, two years of work in the appropriate job or trade that has been within the last five years, meet the requirements for that job within Canada, and have a certification of qualification or a valid job offer that is to last a year or more

Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSW)

This program has been created for those who have skills that are required by workplaces within Canada to help fill their requirements. The applicant must have skilled work experience, meet minimum language requirements in English or French, and have the education necessary for the job. The requirements for this program include language skills in all forms of communication in English or French, more points will be added for those who are capable in both of the countries official languages.
